PD Automotive Consulting
Content Managed Website Development
PD Automotive Consulting specialise in providing an independent expert vehicle evaluation and testing facility to the Police and Emergency Services and to motor vehicle manufacturers. The Vehicle eLibrary is a secure on-line facility I developed to provide Police Fleet Managers with 24-hour access to reliable independent vehicle evaluation reports for many of the leading Police fleet vehicle brands. This resource is exclusively for use by authorised Police Fleet Managers and their designated colleagues and once they have registered are issued with their own secure user name and password. The was a extensive back office administration facility created to manage user accounts and report. A forum was also integrated into the extisting CMS system so users are automatically registered in the forum upon sign up.

I built and designed this website for free for a charity organisation based in Featherstone. Corra Bike Ride Charity , based in Featherstone is a charity organisation which runs from the Girnhill Lane wmc. The site is fully content managed alllowing the charity commity to update each page with their latest events, news, the most current benificiary.
Cowbyre Artworks
Content Managed & Multi Vendor eCommerce Website
Formed in 2008 the concept of Cowbyre Artworks is to represent genuinely great self taught artists throughout the Yorkshire region, giving them a reliable platform to sell their work direct to lovers of great art worldwide. The site required a CMS system to allow for artists profiles and galleries to be updated and an online multi vendor shop. Each artist has their own administrative area to manage their own artwork/products, orders, and shipments. Buyers will be able to buy from one seller or multiple sellers at a time. It has a powerful administrative area to manage all aspects of the site like sellers, artwork, payments, and buyers. Cowbyre Artworks obtains a commission for each item sold on the website.

The Image Forum is an association of representatives from a broad range of industry companies and professions; its function is to address issues relating to the image quality of both British and international feature film and television productions. I was commissioned to design and build this website, which required a CMS system to update the latest news articles and register member sign ups.
Harley Davidson Newcastle
Flash game development with scoreboard
Client: Mercury Marketing
I was commissioned to build a flash game for Harley Davidson Newcastle. The main object of the game was reach the finish line before the count down timer expired. The speed of the motor bike was determined by how fast you pressed the 'right' key on the keyboard. Various objects would be on the road which to avoid crashing you had to jump over using the space bar....harder than it sounds! All scores were recorded on a scoreboard that required users to submit there name and email address.

This website required a content managed system to be programmed that allowed each of the PBSI group divisions to update the relevant section of the website themselves. The system also incorporated a customer area with the facility to download documents and reports once the customer had signed in.
Pittaway Special Coatings
Colour Select Flash Application

Pittaway's dry flake spray systems offer customers multicolour paint effects. They required an online tool to allow customers to chose their flake colours to see how they would look and to give the colour reference and percentage of flake used. This project was programmed in Flash Actionscript.
Exposure

Exposure website is an online repository of film news, articles and production information. The CMS system allowed for all the articles, news and productions to be updated via the back office system. I had to program a search facility based on relevance and category type. I also developed a keyword tagging system to allow each article to be tagged with specific keywords. These keywords or tags would also be searchable by the category drop down.
Kingswood Collage of Arts

A local school required there site to be redesigned and a content management system setup to allow students and teachers to administer sections of the website. A document storage facility allowed for upload and download of relevant course material. I calander was programmed to allow staff and students to search for up and coming events or meeting. An updatable gallery area was programmed to allow for new student work to be added each term. The CMS system incorporated a user permission system that allow access for different user levels such as admin, staff and students. Students could update certain areas of the website but these changes would first need approving by an staff member first. Staff had access to private documents stored on the website, which were not available the public.
First Harrogate Trains

First Hull Trains required a website to promote their services between Harrogate and London. For this website a created a flash animation of the First Hull train travelling across an track. I also built the website up based on the style guide provided.
Hull KR Viral Game
Flash Game Development

As part of HullKR's 2009 season ticket promotion a viral flash game was developed to promote the season ticket prices. The aim of the game was to kick the ball at the correct angle so that it would bounce as far down the pitch as possible. All scores could be submitted to a score board, which would capture the name and email address of the player.

As part of the Hull Elf Christmas promotion i was commissioned to develop a flash game where by players could choose a elf, which each had different characteristics such as the speed they could run. The aim of the game was to catch as many falling presents before the timer ran out. A score board captured the players score, name and email address.
Hull Collage
Viral Flash Game Scoreboard

I intergrated the the scoreboard into the existing game to capture the score, name and email address in a MySQL database. This included a backoffice admin area to administar the scores results.

Flight of the Felix
Flash Viral Game
One of my most successful viral games to date, this game took the free online games websites by storm. Within two weeks it spread across the internet and has already been turned into a Facebook application.
The game is simple, a cat with a jetpac takes to the skys to collect points.
